A few words about the developers…

Max Mathews, Sr. originally from South Alabama is a four-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Troy State University. He currently holds a Florida Certified General Contractor License as well as a state certified Roofing Contractor license. Max has been building and developing real estate in South Alabama and Northwest Florida for 30 years.

Max Mathews, Jr. earned his Bachelor of Science in International Business from Florida State University. After becoming a stockbroker, first with a national securities brokerage firm and then as an investment advisor within the banking industry, he joined the family business in 1995. Already in possession of a Realtors Brokers License, he has managed long-term rentals for the company and its clients as well as the company’s sales division.

James Mathews, the youngest partner in the family business, completed his university education at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Sales. James acquired a Florida realtor’s license in 1994 when he returned home and joined the company. Working up through the ranks of the company over the years, James acquired a State Certified General Contractor license in 1996. An active pilot and outdoorsman, James has served as construction manager for all of the company projects since 1996.

Holly L. Doin-Hembree, our Marketing and Sales Executive, founded The Village at Playa Pristina partnering with the Mathews family in 2006. She has 12 years of hotel management experience and she has spent the last 11 years with real estate sales in positions as general manager, broker, and/or owner with a solid background in successful traditional and entrepreneurial venues. She has had a very rewarding real estate career in Florida. She is the member of the National Association of Realtors, USA, the Florida Association of Realtors, Florida, and the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors, Florida. She now makes Bocas Del Toro, Panama her home.
